Professor Mattox's Renewable Energy Research


Professor John Mattox does research on on renewable energy technology at Fayetteville State University.


His current projects include:

1. A study of the prospect of carbon sequestration as calcium carbonate as a consequence of hydrogen production from sea water.

2. The problem of sulfation in lead acid storages batteries in homes powered by photovoltaic solar cells. My battery research laboratory is in room 317 of FSU's Lyons Science Building.

3. He consults on potential opportunies for installing new hydroelectric power facilities in North Carolina.
