FSU Site for Live Information and Images for the Total Lunar Eclipse of October 27, 2004

This site will be updated to provide live information and images during the Total Lunar Eclipse of October 27, 2004 if it is clear. UPDATE 10/27/04, 7 am, rain is forcast for Fayetteville tonight.

A webcast of this eclipse is planned by The SAROS GROUP Scientific Expeditions from Mexico.

FSU Webcast of the Total Lunar Eclipse of November 8, 2003

John Mattox of the FSU Astronomy Program and Johnny Horne of the Fayetteville Observer, and FSU Student, Linda Kendzierski, collaborated to attempt to provide live Internet coverage of this eclipse from the UNC-FSU Observatory. Our weather was mostly cloudy. Images were not obtained until after totality.
