Information about Public Planetarium Programs at FSU

The FSU Planetarium is often open to the public. There is no admission charge for public programs. We encourage community groups to visit the planetarium during these events. Please notify us in advance if your group is larger than 40 people.

These programs are normally a component of FSU Astronomy Open House Events. The dates of future events are given on the Open House page.

Our planetarium programs are usually well attended. It is suggested that you arrive a few minutes early to insure that you obtain a seat. If a seat is not available when you arrive, we will try to offer a second showing at the conclusion of the first.

The door to the planetarium must be locked against entrace when our star projector is in use (so that outside light doesn't disrupt the program).
